National treasure Inuyama Castle, built in 1537 of the Muromachi period (1537),
the tower is the existing Japan's oldest style.
Slightly elevated view from the castle tower,

which was built on top of the mountain is
 just a superb view of the banks of the Kiso River.

The surrounding area and the old streets of the Inuyama castle town,

 there are a number of tourist facilities.
